How our approach is different


We want to get a real understanding of what you’re going through, so we begin your experience with a series of assessments. These help us determine where you are and how to tailor an approach to fit your needs. They will be tailored to help us get an idea of your areas of concern, and the results will allow our therapists to quickly determine the treatment plan that is right for you, which may include individual therapy, couple’s therapy, group therapy, or yoga therapy.

Getting to the root of the problem with EMDR

We believe in getting to the root of your problem, rather than just treating your symptoms. Unlike depth therapy, which can take years, we utilize EMDR therapy. This approach allows you access to the underlying reasons for how you feel, and ways to find a quick and lasting resolution. EMDR therapy has been extensively researched and shown to provide lasting results for trauma and other disturbing experiences that cause us distress and dysfunction.

Connecting mind, body and soul

Our belief is mental wellness is a holistic experience, and includes mind, body and soul.  We work to address your physical symptoms by encouraging mindfulness, nutrition, and connection with your physical body.

We have also researched the benefits of yoga therapy as a means for accelerating the benefits of psychotherapy. Our belief is this combined approach is of great benefit to our clients, and have developed a powerful, trauma-informed yoga therapy program that allows for deep healing within the body.  We are also open to exploring your spirituality, as an additional avenue for healing and growth.
