About the Sex Addiction Therapist Position
We are seeking candidates who value the benefits of group practice interdependence, but are also comfortable with the independence of private practice, well organized and professional.
The right candidate will be passionate about helping their clients heal and highly motivated to continue their own education, growth and development as a therapist. The right candidate will feel comfortable working with clients experiencing trauma, sex/pornography addiction, and betrayal trauma and motivated to master cutting edge treatment techniques in this area.
The right candidate will also have a high comfort level and respect for clients of various faith backgrounds, particularly Christian and members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Minimum Qualifications
- LMFT, LPC, LCSW or Licensed Psychologist currently licensed and in good standing in Colorado (or able to transfer license from a state with equivalent or greater requirements)
- At least 2 years post graduate clinical experience
Preferred Qualification
- At least 5 years post-graduate clinical experience
- EMDR certified/trained
- Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT)
- Expertise and specialized training in couples therapy
