Katelyn Quattlebaum

Marriage & Family Therapy Candidate | EMDR | Sexual Recovery Therapy | Betrayal Trauma Trained | Emotion Focused: Child, Individual and Couples Therapy

About Me

I believe therapy can be one of the most transformative relationships we can experience. I say relationship because I believe that building a therapeutic relationship is incredibly important in the therapeutic process. I believe each client should always be loved and accepted where they are. It is my joy and honor to get to walk alongside people in their struggles, pain, and ultimately their healing and wholeness. It is my hope to make each person feel seen and known during this process. Therapy is vulnerable, and I commend each person that is brave in taking this step. I am passionate about this work and truly grateful for the opportunity.

I completed my undergraduate work in Psychology and graduate work in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy at Oral Roberts University. I enjoy all things outdoors, especially by the water! I am passionate about holistic health. I enjoy cooking, and creating space for my people to

connect around the table. I love my daily walks around the park with my dog. I am crazy about my family and my people. My heart is for them and my faith.

My Resume

I believe the therapeutic approach should be tailored and individualized for each person. I utilize various approaches including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused

Therapy, Family Systems, EMDR, and Play Therapy. My clinical practice is focused on working with individuals, adolescents, teenagers, and children.
